
The Ali Qapu Mansion is a monument of the Safavid era that showcases the masterpiece of Iranian art and architecture to the world. The building was ordered to be built by Shah Abbas I and has now maintained its grandeur after more than 4 centuries. One of the architectural wonders of this mansion is the different number of floors in different directions of the building; when you look at it from the front, you see a 2-story palace, and from the back of the palace, it is considered a 5-story building, and from the sides, it is considered a 3-story building. However, in general, including the ground floor, it can be said that the Ali Qapu Mansion is a 6-story mansion, with the music hall and porch being the most beautiful parts of the mansion. So that the weight of the large porch of the mansion is carried on the shoulders of 18 tall columns. When you walk down the narrow stairs of the last floor, it is decorated with extraordinary stucco and captivates your eyes and heart. On this floor, there is a room called the Sound Room or the Music Hall, which is famous for its acoustic properties in Iran and the world; Where your singing voice is tied to the melodies of musicians from centuries ago and played.
